Equipping leaders to reimagine their schools and communities through collaboration, moral courage, and shared purpose.

The aim is to enlist, engage, and empower leaders; to help restore trust, renew vision, and rebuild the moral foundations of communities, inviting us to re-story education through leadership that transforms.

Re:Story Together, launched in 2025 as a two-year pilot project, brings leaders from education, business, government, and community sectors into a shared story of hope, using education as a catalyst for meaningful community reform.

Drawing on a participatory change model, the project strengthens leaders’ moral engagement and social foresight, helping them see their schools and communities not as fixed problems, but as systems that can be reimagined and renewed through collective action.

By building rich social-relational networks and developing the kind of leadership that restores trust and unlocks social capital, Re:Story Together supports leaders in taking future-focused, collaborative steps toward a more equitable education landscape. This includes helping schools clarify their vision and purpose, establish community-rooted advisory boards (Ibandlas), and cultivate the kind of strategic guidance structures that strengthen long-term decision-making and accountability. Through its simple three-part framework - enlist, engage, empower - the project equips leaders to grow in wisdom, responsibility, and confidence, inviting them into the shared work of re-storying education for the good of their communities.
